UH Comprehensive Plan Revision Process

In 2010 UH City Council revised the city's Comprehensive Plan, orginally adopted in 2006. Listed below are the steps and results in the revision process, from most recent to oldest.

Jan. 26 Public Meeting, University Athletic Club 6:30 PM

Jan. 26, 2010 Public Meeting Agenda/Info

This Public Meeting will be held order to collect input from citizens regarding changes in the University Heights Comprehensive Plan.
The UH Comprehensive Plan was adopted by Council in 2006. There is a link to the 2006 plan, and the public meeting agenda at the top of this page.

The meeting will be hosted by staff of JCCOG* and will involve small group discussion sessions
with information reported back to everyone. JCCOG will take this input and prepare a report for
City Council at the Feb. 9th regular meeting.

*JCCOG (Johnson County Council of Governments) is the metropolitan planning organization for the Iowa City urbanized area.
JCCOG specializes in transportation, land use and human services planning. JCCOG staff is overseen by a policy board with
representation from each JCCOG entity (Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty, University Heights, Tiffin, University of Iowa,
and the Iowa City Community School District)
