2005-2006 Comprehensive
Plan Project
Pat Bauer, Chair of the Zoning Commission,
arranged with the University of Iowa Department of Urban and Regional Planning
for assistance from four graduate students in
developing a comprehensive plan for the city. Four public meetings were
held during the winter and spring of 2006, and the students presented a draft
plan to the council in May. A four person review committee was
appointed to develop revisions, and after review by council and opportunities
for public input, the final plan was adopted by the council on November 14,
2006 and is now available
here.
