Grandview Court Apartments - Proposed Rezoning
Darryl High and Jim Angstman of Regency Homes have shown interest in purchasing the Grandview Court Apartments and enhancing the units. Their plan involves renovation of all existing units, landscaping improvements on the entire tract, addition of one unit to each existing building and construction of a 36-unit building of two-bedroom apartments. The new building would be built behind the existing buildings in the area between them.
The City of University Heights Zoning Commission, under the direction of Chairperson Pat Bauer, has held three public meetings regarding Regency Homes' proposal. Meeting Minutes are available from the November 18, 2004, January 10, 2005 and January 17, 2005 meetings. Residents are encouraged to attend Zoning Commission meetings.
A colored drawing of the proposal is available as well as a black and white drawing of the site with calculations for the building, parking and open space. Additional material submitted as part of the rezoning request are available from the City Clerk, Jerry Musser.
