Trash/Recycling & COVID-19

Trash/Recycling & COVID-19

Do your part to keep Johnson County Refuse curbside collection employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The City urges residents to restrict items that workers must handle directly. Our wheeled trash and recycle carts are lifted by the truck without employee contact.

  • Place all trash and recycling inside the appropriate wheeled cart.
  • Make sure cart lids are completely closed.
  • Save extra trash and recycling to put inside carts for the next week’s pickup.
