Emergency Management Agency Commission Vice Chair Mayor Louise From and Police Chief Troy Kelsay participate in phone meetings with the Johnson County Emergency Management Commission Team. The team is made up of elected officials, community leaders, department representatives, and local agencies across the county and state who are working to keep everyone safe. The team coordinates county-wide needs such as medical supplies, hospital beds, essential staff, medicine, testing, volunteer help, long-term-care facilities, school facilities, shelter needs, child care, animal care, meals, and more.

- City Hall is closed to the public. You may leave a message at 319-337-6900.
- City Council meetings will be held remotely, pursuant to Iowa Code section 21.8. Information on how the public can electronically participate will be published as details become available for each meeting.
- On August 18, 2020, the City Council unanimously ratified Mayor From's COVID-19 Prevention Initiative Proclamation encouraging face coverings and physical distancing.
- For trash and recycling curbside collection, do your part to keep everyone safe by placing all items inside the wheeled carts, and keeping the carts securely closed
